Mount Inerie


Mount Inerie located in Bajawa, Ngada capital, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia.
Inerie Mountain has an altitude of 2245 meters above sea level. Part only mountains are heavily forested slopes to the west. The forest on the southern slopes have been converted into plantations.
Most of the forests exist in this area lies at an altitude of 1000-1500 meters above laut.Gunung Inerie erupted in 1882 and 1970. The mountain is crowded climb in the dry season, between June and August.

It means "Masi's horse", who is a hero in the foot of Mount Inerie township.
