Baturaden


Baturaden is one of the attractions located in Banyumas, Central Java, Indonesia. Since 1928, Baturaden known as a place or attraction mountains. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the natural scenery and the cool mountain air. In good weather conditions and sunny, views of Navan, Nusakambangan, Cilacap and beaches can be seen clearly from the top of Baturaden.
 
Baturaden name comes from two words (Javanese), namely Batur (hills, land, friends, helpers) and Raden (nobility). When combined, kara "Batu Raden" can mean: flat land or land views. There are two versions about Baturaden history, namely Sheikh Maulana Maghribi version and the version of the Duchy Kutaliman.
According to the version of Sheikh Maulana Maghribi, Count Rum originating from Turkey and the Islamic religion, ever feel curious about the mysterious light that soared into the sky and shining in the east. Prince then look for the origin of the light. After making the climb up at the top of the mountain, the Prince Rum saw a Buddhist ascetic who was leaning on a guava tree that emits rays of light upwards. This location is then dikenak as the Baturaden. Meanwhile, according to the Duchy Kutaliman version, the story relates to a love story Baturaden Natara daughter of Duke Kutaliman with helpers who keep horses.
Vast areas of land owned onjek Baturaden travel approximately 16.5 ha with an investment of 4 ha.
