Lake Mount Seven


This lake, called Lake Mount seven is high because the location is between the seven of the mountain and is one of the sources of Batang Hari river that flows through South China Sea. Lake is a lake vulkanik, with the size of +4.5 km long and 3 km wide, with a depth of about 40 m.


Besides the beautiful panoramic views of the nature, uniqueness of the Seven Lakes Mountain is the location that makes it as the highest lake in Southeast Asia, with a height of 1996 m dpl. To reach the Lake Mountain from the River Seven Full can be done by using common vehicle for 2 + hours (approximately 56 km) to the gate in the village Pelompek of Mount Seven. Then travel with can only be started with a walk from Post Mountain Resort Seven + for 3 hours.

Travel is relatively easy because there are paths with a reasonably good condition. There are also two shelter as a place to rest, one of them located along the lake which can be found Rabbit Sumatra (Netso), which is one of the endemic species. Throughout the journey, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the forest, different kinds of birds chirp and the various types of animals. Visitors can also enjoy the natural orchid collection in the region of attraction and elephants latih ready to take visitors around the surrounding area Camping.
